Scouting at Home!

It has been fantastic to receive so many pictures and updates from across the group and it is wonderful to see so many of you making the best use of this unusual time. Don't forget about the taskmaster activities and #thegreatindoors activities too. Links below

Cubs, Artist Badge

During our zoom sessions the Cubs have been working really hard on their Artist badge. We did a draw-along with dan and we created posters to show our support for the NHS too!

St George's Day

Lots of our Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers met on St George's Day for an hour of fun and games. We even dressed up!

Tom, Scouts

Tom has been really busy during the lockdown period. He's been baking, making robots, climbing trees, walking and washing the dog!

Alex, Explorers

Dear Charlie,

I have been doing 10 km cycles most days, i used my telescope to see the moon when it was at its closest to the sun, I have setting up my fish tank and i have picked up the guitar again.

Mark, Cubs

Mark has been honing his woodcraft skills... He carved a flute!

Oliver, Scouts

Oliver has been working towards the Chef Badge! Garlic bread and olives to start, breaded peri-peri chicken breasts with flavoured rice and veggies for main and mint ice-cream smoothies for pudding.

You're making us hungry Oliver!

Harry, Oliver and Dan

Here are the Varns boys doing their mile to the Moon.

Harry wanted to wear his spaceman outfit, so here he is planting the scout flag on the moon.

Well done!

Simeon, Beavers

Simeon has been riding his new bike in Richmond park with his brother over the past few weeks - it’s been really fun riding on the roads while there’s no cars or big cyclists allowed in the park!

He has been practicing his football and rugby skills and going for a daily walk and bike ride I’m Wimbledon common and Richmond park after he has finished his daily school work.

He’s also enjoyed getting dressed up and doing exercise with Joe Wicks PE classes on the tv!

Simeon says one of his favourite things about being at home these past weeks has been being at home with his family and playing with his younger brother and sister

Zachary, Cubs

Zachary has been really busy too, climbing trees, exercising at home and doing science experiments!

It's great to see you all so busy!
