Replacing the Heating System in our Scout Hut

Dear Friends,

For more than a century - since 1904 - the 8th Wandsworth Scout Group has been a proud and active part of the Southfields community. From even before the Scout Association itself was founded, our Group has helped local children and young people grow in confidence, learn essential life skills, build lifelong friendships and, of course, have plenty of fun along the way!

Our Group is run entirely by volunteers who give their time, energy and heart to keep our programmes vibrant and meaningful. We are funded mainly through membership subs (for those who can afford them) and by the hiring out of our hall. However, these regular funds are not enough to cover essential large expenses - particularly the upkeep of our building.

Right now, we urgently need to replace the heating system in our Hall. A warm, welcoming space is vital not only for our young people, but also for the various groups and individuals who make use of the Hall throughout the year. With your support, we can make sure it remains a safe, comfortable and thriving community hub for many years to come.

We would be incredibly grateful for any contribution you can make. Boilers for buildings like ours are costly and every donation - big or small - truly makes a difference. The QR Code (or here) will take you to our GoFundMe page.

Thank you for helping us continue the Scouting spirit in Southfields.

Kind regards,
The Trustees of the 8th Wandsworth Scout Group
